Here we will be recommending a few series that we think you could enjoy!

10 things I hate about you

Here I am again to recommend you another film, and this time I’m really excited because I love this film. It’s called “10 things I hate about you”.  I saw it for the first time this weekend with Júlia and I’ve already seen it again, because I loved it!
This film is about the Stratford sisters, Kat and Bianca, who are very different from each other. Bianca is the typical popular girl, sweet with everyone and Kat is the typical antisocial and rude girl (honestly, I love her and I think she’s an icon).
It’s well-known in their high school that their father doesn’t let them date, and Kat it’s fine with that, but Bianca isn’t. One day, their father came with a new rule that said that Bianca could date if Kat did.
That’s when Cameron takes place. He has a huge crush on Bianca and he really wants to date her, so he looks for a boy that Kat could date, which is something very difficult to do, but he tries anyway.
He finds Patrick Verona, a boy that everyone is scared of, and he feels that he’s perfect.
If you want to know what happens between them, you’ll have to see the film!
You can see it on Disney+.
I hope you enjoy it!

LAST SONG

Today I’ll recommend a film from Disney +. The film I’m talking about is The Last Song. This

film stars Miley Cyrus with the company of Liam Hemsworth. It was released in 2010. The setting

is a beach town, where Ronnie (Miley) moves in for the summer because her mother leaves her and

her brother there because his father lives in that town.

Her mother sends her children with their father because she considers Ronnie a rebellious kid

because once stole something in New York, where she lived, and thinks that a change of air will

help her; but it won’t. Through the summer, Ronnie continues to be mad until she discovers

something about her father that changes her mind completely. This film was the first film I cried

with and remains one of my favorites.

THE SECRET LIFE OF WALTER MITTY

Hello! Today I’m writing to recommend to you one of my favorite films, which is called (as you might have guessed by reading the title) “The secret life of Walter Mitty”.

This film was released in 2013 and is starred by Ben Stiller, and when I was doing a little research I discovered that it’s based on a book from 1939.

The plot is about a man called Walter who works in the photographic negatives department from the magazine Life. His life is a little bit boring, but thanks to that he develops the ability to imagine crazy scenarios where he is a wonderful hero in his head. Recently, a woman called Cheryl Melhoff had started working in the same magazine and Walter started having a crush on her.

One day, the officers are informed that the magazine is going to start being just online, so they’re preparing the last number, and people being fired turns out to be something really usual.

For the last number, Walter has to be responsible for the photo that is going to be on the cover, which is a photo taken for the famous photographer Sean O'Connell, but the photo isn’t where it has to be, and Walter starts to panic. What does he do? Travel to Groenlandia, which is the place where Sean is, to find him and ask him for the photo. As you can imagine, he has many issues during the trip.

If you want to find out what happens in the end, you’ll have to watch the film! Nowadays, the only place where you can see the film is on Youtube, and it costs 3’99€, but I’m sure you can find it on other websites.

Enjoy it!

THE GREATEST SHOWMAN

Here I will explain what I think about The Greatest Showman musical. This film was released on 22 December 2017. The plot is about Barnum, an intelligent and manipulative but charismatic character. This film is set in the 19th century when he was fired from his job. With a loan and the help of his wife, he opens one museum of wax statues, named “The Curiosities Museum of Barnum”. But days went by and the museum became a spectacle of rejection to attract more spectators with longing to send their money to the show. A bearded woman, the smallest man, the best trapeze artist are some of the examples which include the show. All these things made the name of the show change to: “The circus of Barnum”. These unusual persons that work in the circus, feel like some people in the public accept them. The film offers this way how society can judge people by appearances and no for how they are inside.
