The Queen’s Gambit

Hi! Today I will explain to you a bit of one of my favorite series. “The Queen's Gambit”. 

This series is about the life of an orphan chess prodigy, Elizabeth Harmon, during her quest to become the world's greatest chess player she struggles with emotional problems, drugs, and alcohol dependency. 

Personally, I liked it a lot, and it wasn't boring. The plot is very interesting because even if it's not based on a true story, it could be perfectly true (for the girl's life). In the end, it leaves you wanting to see more chapters and see how her life goes, but still, it's cool how it ends.

Lost

Hello everyone! Here I am again, but this time I’m recommending a series, and it’s a very famous one (depending on how old you are). The series I’m talking about is “Lost”, and it’s my favorite one. I saw it for the first time with my dad and my older brother about 5 years ago, and I still love it.

This show is about how the Oceanic 815, a plane that went from Sydney to Los Angeles, crashed on a random island. Pretty common, isn’t it? Well, I think it is the weirdest series I’ve ever seen, and I’ll tell you why. 

The survivors of the accident started creating a life on the island because it seemed like nobody was going to rescue them. I don’t want to tell you much about it because I feel like I’d ruin the show.

The only thing that I want to say is that you’ll fall in love with every character, at least with most of them!

You can see it in Disney+ and Amazon Prime.

Gilmore Girls

Hi everyone! I came to recommend to you one of my most favorite series for

a very long time. Actually now I’m rewatching it for the fourth time in one year :).

The serie that I’m talking about is Gilmore Girls. Gilmore Girls is a serie set

in 2000, in a small town called Stars Hollow. The main characters are a mother and

a daughter that have a best friend relationship. The mother Lorelai Gilmore had

her daughter Rory Gilmore when she was sixteen years old, so she raised her alone,

with no help. Through the 7 seasons of the series, you can see them growing, making

life-changing decisions, and overcoming family problems from the past. The series

starts when Rory is 15 years old. She is a smart, funny, obsessed with books person

and Lorelai is a very energetic person, obsessed with movies and music from the

decade. The two of them share an obsession with coffee and food. All Stars Hollow

loves them, and are like fathers and mothers for Rory.

With this show you will laugh, cry and I have no doubts you will fall in love

with each and every character.

Maybe when you see how long it is, you won’t start it, but believe me that this

series gets your full attention.

Hello everyone! We are: Júlia Águila, Antía Aragundi and Anne Sala. We are 15 years old and we live in La Garriga, in a very little town near Barcelona, in Spain.    Here we will be recommending a few series that we think you could enjoy! 10 things I hate about you Here I am again to recommend you another film, and this time I’m really excited because I love this film. It’s called “10 things I hate about you”.  I saw it for the first time this weekend with Júlia and I’ve already seen it again, because I loved it!  This film is about the Stratford sisters, Kat and Bianca, who are very different from each other. Bianca is the typical popular girl, sweet with everyone and Kat is the typical antisocial and rude girl (honestly, I love her and I think she’s an icon).  It’s well-known in their high school that their father doesn’t let them date, and Kat it’s fine with that, but Bianca isn’t.
